Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive at New Delhi International airport. Meeting assistance and transfer to hotel.
Full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi.
This morning you will be taken to visit Old Delhi - Former centre of Moghul Power, Old Delhi offers ancient monuments, narrow streets and bustling bazaars. Visit the vast Red Fort, built in 1648, the Jama Masjid, the greatest mosque in India and completed in 1658 by Shah Jahan who also built the Taj Mahal, and the Raj Ghat, the simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.
New Delhi - drive past the stately government buildings of the British Era designed by Lutyens, including the India Gate & thePresidential Palace. Continue onto the beautiful Humayuns tomb of the Mughal era & predecessor of the world famous Taj Mahal. End the tour at the towering minaret of Qutab Minar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi - Agra (210 kms, 4 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Agra visiting Sikandra tomb enroute. On arrival & check in at hotel.
Afternoon proceed for tour of Taj Mahal - The mausoleum of Empress Mumtaz Mahal, the beloved spouse of Shah Jahan, who died in 1630. The Taj complex comprises a forecourt, a lofty entrance, and a charming formal Mughal garden with canals and a central tank with a series of fountains, the tomb proper, and an attached mosque on the west and its symmetrical counterpart on the east. The Taj is remarkable for its perfect proportions and rich pietra dura, with minute details executed with great skill. The building, often styled "a dream in marble" is said to have taken at least 22 years (1631-1653) to build. (Closed on Fridays) Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Agra - Jaipur (235 kms, 5 hrs)
After breakfast visit Agra Fort - lies on the bend of the River Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town. It was built by Akbar as his citadel over the years 1565-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat.
Afternoon drive to Jaipur enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri
Fatehpur Sikri - drive to the impressive sandstone fortress of Fatehpur Sikri. The fort was built in the 16th century and only occupied for a few years before being abandoned, leaving the buildings in virtually perfect conditions.
Continue drive to Jaipur. on arrival in Jaipur - check-in at the hotel & Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 : Jaipur
After breakfast tour of Amber Fort .Tour of the impressive Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your caparisoned elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate, making your entrance in the time honoured fashion. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, although deserted, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families.
Afternoon tour of City.
Tour of the Pink City -"The Pink City" is spectacularly set within surrounding rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses. Your tour will include the imposing City Palace, still home to the Maharaja although several of the rooms are now open to the public. Many antiques and artefacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry. You will also visit the Hawa Mahal "Palace of the Winds", and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory to see the vast astronomical instruments. Enjoy a stroll through the colourful bazaar before returning to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Jaipur - Delhi - Mumbai
After breakfast drive to Delhi & transfer to airport for flight to Mumbai
Arrival at Mumbai where our representative will receive you and take you to the hotel.

Day 6: Mumbai
Morning full day city tour of Mumbai - the great port city with its Victorian Gothic buildings from the British Raj Era mingling with the modern. The tour includes Gateway of India overlooking the Harbour, the Towers of Silence, Marine Drive and the Dhobi Ghat, the unique and colourful outdoor 'laundry'. Also visit Mani Bhawan, a small museum dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Mumbai - Aurangabad
Morning check out from hotel and drive to the airport for flight to Aurangabad. Arrival at Aurangabad where our representative will meet you and take you to the hotel.
Later proceed for sightseeing of the Ellora caves. Ellora Caves (30 kms) from Aurangabad lie the finest rock cut cave temples of Ellora - 10th & 11th century, which encompasses the three religion Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Of the 34 caves that are both monasteries and temples, the most remarkable is the magnificent Kailasa temple. The entire structure was carved out of a monolith and took over 100 years to complete. The temple itself is decorated with themes and incidents from the ancient legends and puranas in a manner that leaves one in rapturous delight. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8: Aurangabad
This morning proceed for sightseeing of Ajanta Caves (100 Kms). Nestled in an inner fold of the Sahyadri hills, 100 kms away from Aurangabad are the 30 rock-cut caves of Ajanta, famous for its cave painting or frescoes of many colors. These magnificent rock-cut caves, date from 2nd BC to 7th Century AD. They are exclusively Buddhist; unique in the way they combine three forms of art - architecture, sculpture and painting. The superb frescoes and paintings depict episodes from the Jataka stories and the life of Lord Buddha. Caves 1,2,16 and 17 have the best-preserved paintings. The magnificient depictions of the bodhisattvas Avalokitesvara and Padmapaniin are particularly well known. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 9: Aurangabad - Mumbai
Check out from hotel and drop at airport for flight to Mumbai. Arrival at Mumbai and later drop at International Airport for flight back home or to an onward destination.
